Boxer: Dosbox emulator for Mac

If you used to (or still do) enjoy DOS games, but haven't found a way to run them easily on your Mac, look no further! Boxer is a Dos game emulator for your mac. It’s based on the robust DOSBox emulator, but it works just like a Mac app should. Simply drag-n-drop your favorite DOS .exe onto the install icon, and Boxer packages it up into a nice, Mac-friendly app.
Using Boxer is super easy:
- Open DOS programs (.exe, .com and .bat files) by double-clicking or dropping them onto Boxer.
- If you’re comfortable with DOS you can also drop folders, CD-ROMs and CD images onto Boxer to browse them from the DOS prompt.
- Best of all, wrap your games into elegant game packages that you just double-click to play. Boxer comes with four sample game packages for you to try.
When Boxer launches, it takes you to the DOS games folder. Boxer makes this to easily store all your games. It really couldn't be more simple. Try it out for your self! Boxer comes with four ready-to-play games: Commander Keen 4 and demos of Epic Pinball, Ultima Underworld and X-COM: UFO Defense.
